Argyle Pink Diamonds debuted at the Nirav Modi salon in Mumbai, India, Rio Tinto announced.

Rio Tinto’s Argyle Pink DiamondsHighlighting The Shalimar Ring, which was inspired by Laxmi, the India Goddess of Wealth, featuring 4.86-carats of Argyle pink diamonds including its magnificent centerpiece, a 1.25-carat fancy vivid purplish pink round diamond that retails for approximately $2 million.

Nirav Modi is chairman of Firestone Diamond, a diamond jewelry designer, manufacturer and luxury retailer, who specializes in one-of-a-kind heirloom jewelry pieces.

According to Josephine Archer, business manager of Argyle Pink Diamonds, said, “We are delighted to be in Mumbai to celebrate this important occasion."
