Amir Almog Appointed By Lazare Kaplan to Be VP Rough Diamonds

Lazare Kaplan International Inc. (LKI) appointed Amir Almog as vice president of rough diamonds.
Almog brings many years of hands-on experience and expertise in the purchasing, sorting, evaluating and selling of rough diamonds and he will be based in Israel.
The Diamond Trading Company (DTC) Sightholder said that Almog brings many years of hands on experience in the purchasing, sorting, evaluating and selling of rough diamonds.
President of Lazare Kaplan, Leon Tempelsman, said, “Rough diamond sourcing and trading have historically been an important part of LKI’s global operations - both as a self-standing profit center and a source of raw material for production of The Lazare Diamond.”
“This appointment adds strength at a time when rough sourcing is an increasingly important aspect of the business.”
