Paddy Byng has been named managing director of Asprey Holdings Limited and will assume this global role February 1. Byng was most recently the chief executive of Smythson.

Paddy ByngJohn Rigas, chairman of the board at Asprey, said, "We are pleased to have found a leader with a well established reputation, and experience in the luxury industry and an inherent understanding of the British marketplace."
