IGI Opens The Largest Diamond Certifying Lab in Dubai
Located at Almas Tower...The International Gemological Institute (IGI) opened the company’s largest diamond certifying laboratory and training institute in the Middle East on Tuesday.
Located at Almas Tower, Dubai, with 5,000 square foot facility hosts a diamond laboratory with the latest grading technology and is home to the IGI School of Gemology.
The IGI School of Gemology offers courses in rough diamond grading, polished diamond grading, color stones identification, professional jewelry designing, pearl grading, mounted jewelry grading and seminars on diamonds and colored stones for retail sales professionals.
Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre, said, "We look forward to working together with IGI and the 300 regional and international precious gems companies operating within Almas to create trade opportunities and stimulate the growth of the industry as a whole.”
