From January 31 through February 5...

The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) will offer gem identification and country of origin services during the AGTA GemFair in Tucson.

AGTA GemFair in TucsonGemstones can be dropped off in the Onyx Suite of the convention center from 9am to 5pm, during the heart of the show January 31 through February 5, and from 9am to 3pm on February 6.

GIA is offering a number of microscope and accessories deals that will only be available during AGTA GemFair — located at the GIA booth on the Galleria level of the Convention Center. There will also be exclusive offers at the AGTA GemFair for G&G subscriptions, current and back issues, G&G In Review books and reference charts. The newest reference chart, Major World Gem Producing Regions, which is updated for 2010, will also be for sale.

GIA will offer a number of educational seminars including a presentation by Dr. James Shigley and GIA chief learning officer Bev Hori. Check out the full list at Gia.edu/about-gia/events-calendar/tucson.
