Helzberg Diamonds launched an advertising partnership with online dating website SetforMarriage.com.
The alliance underscores the shift in how couples meet today in the U.S., with one in every four marriages resulting from an initial meeting online, the partners stated. The deal also marks the first time an online dating site partnered with a traditional brick-and-mortar jewelry retailer, according to the companies.
“Modern couples are finding true love online and the behavior is even more mainstream now than ever before,” said Bradley Boyd, the CEO of SetforMarriage.com.

The affiliation also gives both organizations an opportunity to further build relationships with consumers who are approaching marriage.
