Pandora Jewelry Opens Six Concept Stores in Russia
In Moscow and St. Petersburg...Pandora opened six concept stores in Moscow and St. Petersburg, Russia, as part of a franchise agreement. More stores are coming to the country in 2011.
The Russian market launch will be supported and supervised by Pandora Central Eastern Europe during the initial phases. Introduction and training of staff will be done at Pandora’s offices in Warsaw, Poland.
Mikkel Vendelin Olesen, chief executive of Pandora, stated, “Although the growth in 2011 will primarily come from upgrading and establishing new point of sales in our existing markets, the entrance into Russia and other major emerging markets is a very important step in order to secure Pandora's long-term growth.”
