Botswana’s Diamond Exports Rise to $308 Million in October

Botswana’s diamond exports rose approximately 64 percent year on year to $307.9 million in October, according to the Bank of Botswana. Exports have increased by about 44 percent to $2.47 billion during the first 10 months of the year.
The bank’s data is a representative sample of the company’s full diamond trade and is sourced from the Diamond Trading Company Botswana, two of 16 manufacturing units in the country and the Central Statistics Office. The data include rough and polished exports.
