Lucara Diamonds Announces to List Share in Sweden
List on Sweden’s Nasdaq OMX...Lucara Diamonds has announced its planning to list on Sweden’s Nasdaq OMX First North exchange adding to its listing in Toronto and Botswana.
William Lamb of Lucara’s president said: "The past year has been a period of major growth for the company and we look forward to welcoming many new shareholders in Sweden when trading commences."
He continued: "A listing on First North will complement our existing listings on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the Botswana Stock Exchange by adding greater liquidity and depth of distribution."
Lucara expects trading on First North to commence in the fourth quarter of 2011 after conditions for the listing have been met.
The company owns the AK6 mine development in Botswana and has a 75 percent stake in the Mothae mine in Lesotho. Mothae is currently in trial mining and commercial mining is expected to begin by the end of the year.
