ALROSA Sales Reach More Than $313 million in January

Alrosa sold more than $313 million worth of rough and polished diamonds in January, the Russian diamond giant revealed.
Demand for rough diamonds has been steady since the beginning of the year following good holiday sales of diamond jewelry, according to the company.
ALROSA also said its total debt currently stands at $3.2 billion and that it plans to reduce its exposure to $2.78 billion by the end of 2011.
